Rebecca received her B.S. in physics from Gordon College in 2017. After graduation, she worked with tiny defects in diamonds (nitrogen-vacancy centers), and utilized them to investigate novel current flow patterns in graphene.

In 2018, Rebecca came to MIT to pursue her PhD in physics and joined the Engineering Quantum Systems (EQuS) group to explore the advantages of 2D materials in the context of quantum information processing.
