Yanjie Qiu graduated from University of California, Berkeley in 2017 with a B.A. in physics. At Berkeley, he worked on cryogenic engineering to optimize a custom-built dilution refrigerator and developing quantum limited amplifiers.
In 2017, Yanjie joined the Engineering Quantum Systems group at MIT to pursue his Ph.D. degree on the study of superconducting circuits.
