Hung-Yu Tsao is a graduate student in Engineering Quantum Systems group (EQuS) working on fabrication of superconducting qubits since 2023. Prior to joining EQuS, Hung-Yu received his BSc in Electrical Engineering with a double major in Physics from National Taiwan University (NTU). During his undergraduate study, he conducted electrical transport measurements on semiconductor devices, including Si and Si/Ge quantum dots (QD) and quantum point contacts (QPC), for spin qubit applications.
Hung-Yu is a recipient of the Alan L. McWhorter (1955) Fund Fellowship. Outside of the lab, you can find Hung-Yu playing table tennis, watching movies, and cooking.
