Gabriel (Gabe) is a graduate research fellow in EQuS working on 3D integration of solid-state qubits. He is developing a superconducting TSV process and flip-chip for quantum dots. Gabe also designs qubit packaging and shielding for dilution refrigerators, and manages the fabrication layout codebase for the group. Gabe graduated from Clemson University in 2023 with a B.S. in Computer Engineering and a B.S. in Economics, with research specialization in MEMS devices as microwave sensors for biological cells. Gabe also has prior experience working with superconducting flex cables and qubits at MIT Lincoln Laboratory.

Outside of the lab, Gabe enjoys flying single engine planes, skiing, traveling, and activism.

Gabe was previously supported by the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship.
