David is a graduate Student at EQuS. He is intrigued by the capabilities of engineering quantum properties in superconducting qubits and the challenges in building larger quantum information systems.
Before joining EQuS, David studied Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at ETH Zurich, where he received a BSc in 2022. At ETH Zurich, he collaborated on the development of an FPGA-based analog signal generator for quantum optics experiments under Prof. Tilmann Esslinger. David wrote his thesis in Prof. Andreas Wallraff’s group, where he designed, fabricated and measured 3D-integrated superconducting processors.
Besides quantum work, David enjoys swimming, watching movies, travelling and good food.
