Chia-Chin is a graduate research fellow in Engineering Quantum System (EQuS) group at MIT since 2023. He is broadly interested in the field of quantum information science, and his current research focuses on materials analysis and fabrication of superconducting qubits.

Before joining EQuS, Chia-Chin earned B.S. degrees in MatSE and Physics and an M.S. in MatSE from National Taiwan University. During his master’s study in the group of Prof. Chi-Feng Pai, he worked on magnetic thin film growth and fabrication, ferromagnetic resonance-related microwave measurements, and novel spin transport phenomena in metal-ferromagnet heterostructures.

He is a recipient of the Think Global Education Trust Scholarship. Outside of the lab, he enjoys playing volleyball, watching movies, and listening to podcasts.
