Alex Greene is currently a graduate student working with the Engineering Quantum Systems group.  They received their B.S. in EECS and Physics from MIT in 2014 and their M.Eng in EECS in 2016.  Their work for their master’s thesis was conducted at MIT Lincoln Laboratory, and focused on motional heating noise in trapped ion quantum information processing systems.

Alex Greene is a recipient of the Alan L McWhorter Fellowship.
