Bharath Kannan received his B.S. in Physics from Rutgers University in 2016. At Rutgers, he worked on Topological Insulators (TI), with focus on fabrication and characterization of TI tunnel junctions. Bharath is currently a graduate student in the Engineering Quantum Systems group at MIT where his research interests are in using superconducting circuits for quantum simulation of many-body physics.
Bharath Kannan is a recipient of the Irwin Mark Jacobs and Joan Klein Jacobs Presidential Fellowship.
