I am a fifth-year Ph.D. student at KAIST in South Korea, advised by Prof. Jihan Kim in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. My Ph.D. research focuses on quantum-computing-based nanomaterial design. In particular, I study how quantum algorithms can be applied to materials design problems involving combinatorial search spaces that are challenging for classical computers to solve efficiently. During my visit, I will be working with the MBP team on a project that combines my background in materials research with the group’s expertise in quantum computing hardware. Outside of research, I enjoy running, swimming, and yoga. I also love coffee and enjoy trying new coffee shops.
