Om is a graduate student in the Engineering Quantum Systems Group (EQuS) at MIT. He is working on quantum error correction with superconducting circuits, with a focus on system automation and scaling considerations.

Om graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 2024 with a BS in Electrical Engineering, a BA in Plan II Honors, and a BS in Mathematics. At UT, he was an undergraduate researcher in the Quantum Circuits Group. He spent spring 2023 in the Hybrid Quantum Systems Group at ETH Zürich on a team working to implement single-mode squeezing in a phononic resonator.
