Max conducted his Ph.D. research with Michel Devoret at Yale University. At Yale, he investigated Andreev level dynamics using circuit QED techniques. After a short post doc in the same group, Max joined EQuS in the Fall of 2021 to work on bosonic error correction, protected qubits, and quasiparticle dynamics in superconducting circuits.
