Kotaro is a graduate student in the EECS department and currently a recipient of JASSO Student Exchange Support Program (until 8/2028).

Prior to joining EQuS group, he earned his B.S. and M.S. degrees at the University of Tokyo, where he conducted research on the integration of fluxonium qubits.

Outside of research, Kotaro enjoys rock climbing and listening to music.
