Daniel is a PhD student from the National Institute of Astrophysics, Optics, and Electronics (INAOE) in Mexico, currently spending a year at EQUS as a PhD visiting student. During his visit, he will be working on enhancing qubit coherence through materials improvement. 

His research at INAOE, in the group of Dr. Joel Molina, focuses on the development of transmon qubits incorporating atomic layer deposition of high-quality dielectric thin films. 

Outside of the lab, he enjoys playing the piano and reading.
