Vaishnavi Addala is an EECS graduate research fellow in the Engineering Quantum Systems (EQuS) Lab at MIT. She is excited to be working at the intersection of application and theory to develop and realize optimized protocols for superconducting qubits. She earned her bachelor’s degrees in EECS and Mathematics from MIT in 2024, and she did her undergraduate research on tailoring protocols for near-term quantum hardware in the MIT Quantum Photonics Lab.

Outside of the lab, Vaishnavi likes to take walks and explore the Boston area, sail or ice skate depending on the season, and watch movies.

She is fortunate to be supported by the DOE CSGF and MIT Thriving Stars Fellowship.
